This six-week class will meet on Saturdays: September 7, 14, 21, 28, October 5, and 19. Each session is 2.5 hours.

Experiment and experience a rich combination of watercolor techniques. In this workshop we will cover the foundations of basic watercolor painting: color relationship, subject matter, application of paint, composition, and much more! Techniques will include how to design using a thumbnail sketch, preparing watercolor swatches, washes, masking, resists, as well as brush and paper choices.

Students will be guided toward increased confidence in experiencing color, form, and the adventure of a quick capture as well as a sustained study! A range of supplies will be discussed in detail during the first class. No previous art experience required

This class has a graduation showcase on Monday, October 28, where participants will display their work with friends, family, and the community.
