This six-week class will meet on Saturdays: September 12, 19, 26, October 3, 10, and 17 with a graduation show on Saturday, October 24.

In this class, you’ll transform your real-life experiences into relatable, compelling stories in a fun, supportive environment. Instructors will use interactive exercises to help you discover your life’s stories, develop a narrative structure, infuse engaging details, then polish your performance.

Participants will have weekly writing homework in between class sessions to prepare for their graduation show on October 24.

About the Instructor

Bob Sander is the co-founder of Storytelling Arts of Indiana, a full-time professional storyteller, and lifelong Hoosier. He tells folktales from around the world, historical stories, and personal and family stories. Participation stories and incorporating music are his specialties. He does performances, workshops and residencies for all ages. Special shows include Harrison-Tecumseh, Underground Railroad and the The Stars of Indiana: Hoosier NASA Connections.
