WorkshopExplore sea glass through card making in this two-hour workshop. You’ll have the option to framing your completed work as well. Using the tools of trade, let your creativity flow and shine through the dynamic medium of sea glass!
This workshop is open to the entire military community including service members, veterans, military family members, caregivers, and survivors. You do not need to be a VFW member to attend.
About the Instructor
Vanessa Abbott is a multi-disciplinary visual artist who integrates her artistry into everything she does. Hailing from Brooklyn New York, she has been lauded by her colleagues back home as the ‘sunshine after the storm.’ After spending almost two decades in the operating room as a surgical technician and surgical coordinator, Vanessa has an acute awareness that doctors can ‘fix,’ but the job of healing is up to us. She now explores wellness through teaching art, as well as yoga and meditation.
Vanessa will be leading you on your journey into the world of intuitive art using sea glass as the medium of choice. You will dive in the exploration of card making with the option of using matte borders for framing if you desire.
