Held every 2nd Sunday, this Poetry & Music Open Mic honors the legacy of Army Veteran Jihmye Collins and Vietnam Veteran Jim Hornsby Moreno, continuing the brave, supportive community they built through creative expression. As Jim Moreno said, “Push Back, Use Your Voice; One voice can change a room, change a city, change a state, change a nation, change the world!”

Details:

  • Hosted at Spacebar Cafe & Wine Bistro (Vietnam Veteran–owned & operated)
  • Free admission (please support this veteran-owned small business by purchasing food or a drink)
  • Poets have 2 poems or 5 minutes | Musicians have 2 songs or 10 minutes
  • Add your name to the paper sign in sheet when you arrive to get a spot in the lineup

All are welcome at this event and venue. No military affiliation required. No Cover, No Minimum. Food and drinks available for purchase.
