Where are you from? For some, the answer is simple. For others, it’s layered across hometowns, duty stations, road trips, memories, people, and moments that still feel like home.

In this reflective and creative writing workshop, you’ll use guided prompts and personal photographs to explore the places and experiences that shaped your story. Through poetry and personal storytelling, you’ll create a poem and/or short essay inspired by the life you’ve carried from place to place.

Bring 3–4 photos of places you’ve lived, loved, or feel connected to. Photos may be digital or printed. No writing experience necessary — just come ready to reflect, create, and discover the stories waiting to be written.
