This 6-week class meets on Thursdays: March 5, 12, 19, 26, April 2, and 9 from 6:30-8:30 PM ET.

We will step away from the noise of the outer world and discover the fundamentals of drawing including the artist alphabet, value scales, line/shape relationships, composition, and subject matter that matters to you!

A variety of techniques will be explored. For example, we will draw with sticks and found objects while also working with dominant and non-dominant hands. These approaches are not only fun, but they also open us to being existential detectives going to wonderful places we wouldn’t think to go. Throughout our course we will experience direct relationship with a variety of time-tested drawing techniques, even drawing in a way that changes everything.

What this course will offer you:
The real gift of this study is where you will travel week by week, as you ‘take your line for a walk.’ Week by week, You explore your creative capacity through calming personal encounters in self-expression. Not only will you be drawing during these weeks, developing your own practice pace, you will also design a PWP (Progress Without Pressure) project.

This class is open to all skill levels, we will ship the required materials to you.
