This six-week class will meet on Sundays: September 8, 15, 22, 29, October 6, (skip 13), 20. Each session is 3 hours.
Learn the basics of standup comedy in this six-week class taught by professional comics. The class ends with a graduation show where you’ll deliver a five-minute comedy set to a public audience. Our 600+ graduates have gone on to perform on some of the world’s biggest stages, including Warner Theatre, Gotham Comedy Club, and The White House.
This class has a graduation show on Sunday, October 27, where participants will perform for an audience of friends, family, and the community.
About the Instructors
Sherri Priester is a Navy wife who has performed in clubs throughout the Southeast & has appeared on Coast Comedy Live, CBS, and UBSN on Roku. Since 2019, she has performed with comedians Lindsay Glazer, Helen Keaney, Tracey Locke, Cederick Middlebrooks, Jason Moliterno, Mat Alano-Martin, Chris Harvey, Quicy Carr, Tanya Lee Davis and Shelly Belly and more. Her unique take on parenting, marriage, the military, friendship and aging will make any audience laugh.
Kristen Howard is an Air Force veteran and a graduate of ASAP’s Comedy Bootcamp, Musical Improv, Creative Writing, and Drawing programs. She’s been performing stand-up comedy with ASAP since 2017 and keeps audiences laughing with stories about her life as a mom of four.
