Songwriting Graduation Showcase

Join us for an evening of original music, creativity, and celebration with the graduates of ASAP’s Songwriting class.
At this showcase, you’ll hear brand-new songs written by military-connected artists who stepped into the creative process with courage, curiosity, and heart. Some pieces are deeply personal, some playful, some collaborative, but all of them reflect the unique voices that emerged in this class.
Led by award-winning performer and teaching artist Tamara Rodriguez, this six-week songwriting class guided participants through initial ideas to fully realized original songs. Through lyric writing, rhythm exercises, collaboration, and performance practice, each songwriter explored how personal stories, emotions, and lived experience can become powerful music.
Come celebrate these artists and enjoy an inspiring night of live original music with family, friends, and community. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided!
