ClassThis six-week dance class meets on Fridays, February 20, 27, March 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 6-8 PM, with a graduation showcase on Friday, April 3 from 6-8:30 PM at the Light Box Theater.
Whether you’re brand new to Latin dance or already comfortable on the floor, this six-week progressive course will give you fresh, fun skills to grow your confidence. You’ll work your way through Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, and Bachata, learning foot patterns, timing, partner work, and musicality in a supportive, beginner- and intermediate-friendly environment. Each week builds on the last, helping you feel grounded in the basics while giving you room to explore your style and express yourself. No partner, heels, or dance shoes required — just bring comfortable movement clothes and an open mindset.
The series wraps with a relaxed, informal showcase and social where you can try out your new moves, celebrate your progress, and dance with classmates before taking your skills out on the town. Guided by Gloria Lanuza’s warm, encouraging teaching style, you’ll leave each session with a little more rhythm, a little more confidence, and a whole lot more joy.
