Class

This six-week class will meet on Tuesdays: March 18, 25, April 1, 8, 15, and 22. Each session is 2.5 hours.

This exploratory workshop is designed for writers who want to develop their voice and learn more about craft. In each class, we’ll explore different aspects of voice by doing close readings to understand what works and complete exercises to see how we can incorporate this into our writing. This class is open to writers of all levels and genres.

About the Instructor

Carrie Nelson is a writer and educator dedicated to helping people become better writers, more capable storytellers, and pursue creative careers. This work has taken her to Seville, Spain (which Game of Thrones fans might recognize as Dorne) and the Savannah College of Art and Design. She currently teaches at the Muse Writers Center, and when she’s not writing or helping people become better writers, she spends as much time with her rescue dog Rudy as possible.

This class is produced in partnership with the Muse Writers Center.
