Class

This six-week class will meet on Wednesdays: April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, and May 7. Each session is 3 hours.

This 6-week class is open to anyone and does not require any previous acting or writing experience. Through a guided process, participants will create and perform a monologue based on your experiences, ideas and inspirations. You will be guided through the writing and acting process, applying prompts and structural tools to create the piece, bringing your personal story to life in a supportive environment. We will bring our “truths” to life using games and tools based in the Michael Chekhov and Sanford Meisner Acting Techniques. The workshop supports participants’ creative resources, builds confidence and provides a solid opportunity for sharing their creative work in a public setting.
