This six-week class meets on Saturdays: September 21, 28, October 5, 19, 26, and November 2 (Skip October 12). Each session is 3 hours.
In this six-week class, you’ll transform your real-life experiences into relatable, compelling stories in a fun, supportive environment. Instructors will use interactive exercises to discover your life’s stories, develop a narrative structure, infuse engaging details, then polish your performance.
This class has a graduation show on Saturday, November 2nd where participants will perform in front of an audience of friends, family, and members of the community.
About the Instructor
Bob Sander is the co-founder of Storytelling Arts of Indiana, a full-time professional storyteller, and lifelong Hoosier. He tells folktales from around the world, historical stories, and personal and family stories. Participation stories and incorporating music are his specialties. He does performances, workshops and residencies for all ages. Special shows include Harrison-Tecumseh, Underground Railroad and the The Stars of Indiana: Hoosier NASA Connections.
