Piece It Together: An Introduction to Mosaics

By the end of this beginner-friendly 3-hour workshop into the ancient art of mosaics, you will have completed one project: a Mosaic Wall Panel which makes a great gift or can be used as a trivet for your favorite pie or to hang on your wall.

The workshop will be divided into 3 parts: Design/Layout and Tile Cutting Techniques, How to Glue and Transfer and Grouting Tips & Tricks. All materials will be provided. For your safety, close-toed shoes are required.

About the Instructor

Caron Learned is a public artist from Minnesota specializing in mosaic art, a love that began more than a decade ago. Caron’s most recognized artistic accomplishment thus far has been in the design partnership with Mercedes Austin, creating two, 10ft mosaic murals at the main terminal of the Minneapolis, St. Paul International Airport.
