Are you interested in learning about quilting or just looking for a fun, DIY decor project? Join us to make mini quilts! In this three-hour, no experience-required workshop, you’ll learn how to design, structure, and finish a small quilt. We will also discuss various techniques and introduce you to a local quilting guild. You do not need any sewing skills or experience! We will have volunteer quilters and their machines on hand to help turn your design into a completed project to take home. You can use your mini quilt for a wall or door hanging, table decoration, or fancy chihuahua blanket!

About the instructors

Tammy Barlet is a Coast Guard veteran and Improv alum who began sewing after taking an ASAP quilting workshop in 2021. She was instantly intrigued to learn more about this art form that fabricates the freedom of creativity. Her quilts have been shown in galleries and quilt shows. Tammy is also a member of the Annapolis Quilt Guild where she co-chairs the events committee.

Stephanie Kline is a Marine Corps veteran and Comedy Bootcamp alum who began sewing as a creative outlet during the pandemic. In 2021, she taught her first quilting workshop through ASAP where the final products were donated to Afghan families who were evacuated to the DC area.
