Hand-Printed Postcards
May 2 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
This two-week class meets Saturdays, May 2 & 9.
Create art you can send in the mail! In this hands-on workshop, artists will explore both relief and intaglio printing techniques using our small-but-mighty printing presses. Design and print your original artwork sized to a standard, mailable 4” x 6” postcard.
We’ll learn how to carve and ink relief blocks, prepare and print intaglio plates, and run their designs through the press for crisp, professional results. By the end of class, you’ll leave with a small edition of handcrafted postcards ready to send.
No experience necessary, we’ll walk you through each step!
