Do you want to get your thoughts out there about issues that matter to you? This workshop will introduce the art of the editorial (Op-Ed), a powerful form of public writing that blends your voice with current issues.

Whether you’re a writer looking to publish in newspapers, online platforms, or institutional outlets, this session will guide you through the key elements of effective Op-Ed writing, such as opening with a compelling hook, backing up your point with evidence, and considering counterarguments. You’ll leave with a draft idea, tools for refining your argument, and tips for pitching your piece to editors.
