This six-week class meets on Saturdays, March 8, 15, 22, 29, April 5, and 12. Each session is 2.5 hours.
Join us for Drawing Fundamentals, a six-week class designed for a powerful engagement with the world around us. By reigniting the excitement of observation, this class will tap into your inner-child and open you to seeing the world with fresh new eyes.
Drawing Fundamentals is designed for adults of all ages with little to no drawing experience. Experienced artists are still welcome. Like all ASAP @ MOCA offerings, this drawing course centers on the calming connection that occurs when we move the hand in ways that express our true nature.
This class is included in ASAP’s Hampton Roads Graduation Showcase, where participants get the chance to show off their work in speak to an audience of friends, family, and graduates of other ASAP classes.
This class is produced in partnership with the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art.
