About the Instructors
Debbie Griffin uses her children’s theater background to entertain her audiences with tales crafted with music, drama, and movement. Since 1982 she has been telling stories at libraries, schools, festivals, churches and parks including the Washington Folk Festival, The Virginia Storytelling Alliance Gathering, Alexandria and Maryland Public TV, The Fairfax Fall for the Book, and in Suffolk public libraries and schools.
Dennis Noonan-Sloan is a Navy veteran and comes from a family of storytellers. In his professional life he has been a corporate educator and a project manager but spent a lot of time in the early part of his career helping others improve their presentation skills. Dennis received his Masters in Education from Vanderbilt University. Read more here.
