This seven-week class meets on Sundays, March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, April 6, and 27 (skip 4/13 & 4/20). Each session is 2 hours.
Join the ASAP choir for a fun and collaborative experience in vocal music! Singers of all levels come together to explore a wide range of music genres. With the help of a skilled choir director, you’ll improve your vocal skills, learn to blend and balance, and gain a deeper understanding of musical interpretation and expression. Through rehearsals and a final performance, you’ll enjoy making music as a team and develop important skills like teamwork, discipline, and musicality. Whether you’re an experienced singer or new to choral singing, this class offers a welcoming and supportive environment to grow your voice and enhance your musical journey.
About the Instructor
Tess King is a passionate individual with a diverse background in music, education, and arts leadership! Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Tess developed a love for music early, which led her to pursue a Bachelor of Music Education from Susquehanna University in 2005. Tess furthered her education by earning a Master of Arts in Arts Administration at Winthrop University in 2024. Tess’s combined expertise in music education and arts administration allows her to bring a unique perspective to her roles, seamlessly blending her creative talents with strategic leadership.
In addition to her professional achievements, Tess is a military spouse, a devoted doggy mom, and a seasoned performer.
