America 250 New Jokes Workshop
April 26 @ 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm Pacific
As America approaches its 250th anniversary, we’re reflecting on our nation’s story the ASAP way: through humor.
Take your comedy to the next level in this alumni-exclusive workshop designed to help you develop fresh, original material that playfully engages with the American experience — celebrating the progress we’re proud of and reckoning with moments where the nation has fallen short of its ideals.
Led by seasoned comedians, this interactive session offers a supportive, collaborative space to workshop new jokes, refine comedic voice, and explore how personal stories intersect with the broader American narrative. Whether preparing for an upcoming performance or sharpening your craft, participants will test ideas, receive constructive feedback, and connect with fellow alumni through humor that is sharp, thoughtful, and hopeful.
Please prepare your jokes ahead of time to fully participate in this collaborative feedback-focused workshop.
