Participant Terms & Acknowlegements
By participating in ASAP classes, workshops, performances, or other programs, you agree to abide by these Participant Terms. If you violate any of these terms, you may be disqualified from participating in ASAP programs.
- Attendance: ASAP classes and workshops are free to participants, but they are not free to ASAP and our funders. If you are confirmed for a program, you agree to arrive on time and commit to attending.
- Plagiarism: Plagiarism is not tolerated. You agree to only write and perform original material.
- Behavior: You will act in a civil manner and will not (a) become physically or verbally unsafe to yourself or others; (b) consistently monopolize, disrupt, or otherwise negatively impact the class; or (c) steal from, vandalize, or commit any other crime on program premises.
- Visitors: You agree not to bring to class any outside visitors, including children, spouse, family members, or friends, without prior permission from ASAP staff.
- Weapons & Firearms: All weapons and firearms are strictly prohibited on program premises.
By participating in ASAP programs, you consent to the following:
- Health Acknowledgement: You acknowledge, agree, and represent that you understand the nature of ASAP’s programs and that you are qualified and in good health for participation in the programs and have not been advised to refrain from participating in the programs by a health professional. You certify that there are no health-related reasons or problems which preclude your participation in the Activities.
- Staff/Instructor Notification: You agree and warrant that if at any time you believe conditions to be unsafe, or if you are rendered physically or mentally unable to attend class, you will immediately inform the ASAP instructor and staff, and discontinue further participation.
- Referrals: You understand that you can be referred to community health providers by ASAP staff and instructors if your needs exceed the scope of services offered by ASAP.
