This 3-week class meets on Saturdays, November 7, 14, and 21

This relaxed and friendly class is designed specifically for beginners who want to explore their singing voice for the first time. Over three weekly two-hour sessions, you will learn the essential basics of singing in a comfortable, low-pressure environment. We start with the fundamentals of proper breathing and posture, showing you how to support your voice and sing without any strain.

As the class progresses, you will move on to simple techniques for hitting the right notes and improving your tone. You’ll practice easy vocal exercises to help find your natural range and gain better control over your sound. We also spend time on the fun side of music—learning how to bring emotion to a song and gain the confidence to sing in front of others. By the end of the three weeks, you will have a solid foundation of vocal skills and a collection of simple exercises to help you keep singing long after the course is over.
