The Peace of Interior Design
September 18 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm Central
A peaceful home comes from understanding how a space affects the body, the senses, and the rhythms of everyday life.
In this sensory-focused class, you will explore how lighting, color, texture, softness, sound, scent, comfort, organization, and personal routines can influence how a room feels and functions.
The class will examine simple ways to reduce visual stress, improve comfort, soften harsh environments, and create spaces that support
rest, focus, reflection, or renewal.
You will learn how to identify what feels calming to you personally, rather than relying on one-size-fits-all ideas of what a peaceful space should look like. Through guided exercises, you will consider how sensory details, meaningful objects, and routines can work together to make a room feel more supportive and restorative.
