Program Type

Class

In this six-week class you are afforded the opportunity to develop writing skills about everyday, sometimes obscure, things you see, feel, hear, touch and employ them as catalysts for inspiration. This class is designed considering your individual experiences, and as a group we will submerge ourselves in how others partake in different artistic styles. We will look to nature, art including quilting, ceramics, spoken word and many other creative modalities for motivation.

This sic-week class will meet on Wednesdays: September 27, October 4, 11, 18, 25, and November 1. Each session is 3 hours. This class has a graduation show on Wednesday, November 8th where participants will perform excerpts of their work for an audience of friends, family, and the community.
