In this six-week class, you’ll transform your real-life experiences into relatable, compelling stories in a fun, supportive environment. Instructors will use interactive exercises to discover your life’s stories, develop a narrative structure, infuse engaging details, then polish your performance. The class culminates in a graduation show for friends, family, and the ASAP community.
This is a six-week class and will meet on Saturdays: September 16, 23, 30, October 14, 21, 28. (Skip October 7). Each session is 3 hours. This class has a graduation show on Saturday, November 11th where participants will perform for an audience of friends, family, and the community.
About the Instructor
Bob Sander is the co-founder of Storytelling Arts of Indiana, a full-time professional storyteller, and lifelong Hoosier. He tells folktales from around the world, historical stories, and personal and family stories. Participation stories and incorporating music are his specialties. He does performances, workshops and residencies for all ages. Special shows include Harrison-Tecumseh, Underground Railroad and the The Stars of Indiana: Hoosier NASA Connections.
