No writing experience is necessary, and sharing is always optional.
Whether you’re picking up a journal for the first time or returning after a break, you’ll be guided through thoughtfully crafted writing prompts designed to inspire clarity, creativity, and deeper self-awareness at your own pace. Together, we’ll explore how journaling can help you clear your mind, process life’s experiences, and reconnect with yourself. You’ll also discover strategies to create a personalized writing ritual that fits your lifestyle and cultivates a lasting journaling habit—one that nurtures resilience, personal growth, and self-discovery.

This class will be led by Kristen Fogle, Executive Director of San Diego Writers, Ink, who has spent over a decade creating safe spaces for creative expression. Kristen is a highly accomplished writing instructor, theater director, producer, and author, with four prompt-based writing books to her name, including two published with Rockridge Press in 2022. Her thoughtful guidance will help you feel encouraged, inspired, and supported throughout the experience.
