Power Words in Art
November 14 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm Central
Turn a word or phrase that motivates you into a piece of visual art you’ll see every day. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create a mixed media artwork centered on a personal “power word” using stencils and layered design.
You’ll explore how color and shapes add meaning while building your background, then bring your piece together with techniques like spray paint, stenciling, wax resist, watercolor, acrylics, markers, and collage.
Leave with a finished artwork designed to live in your space and keep you focused, energized, and moving forward. No experience needed.
