Joke Feedback Session

Got five minutes of material? Bring it in. This workshop is designed for comedians who want to strengthen existing jokes, try out new ideas, and get constructive feedback in a supportive group setting. Whether you’re building toward a performance or just want help figuring out what’s working, this is a space to refine your material, sharpen your voice, and grow as a comic. Please come prepared with at least five minutes of original comedic material to workshop.
*ASAP Content Guidelines are PG-13: no political, racist, sexist, or homophobic material, and nothing that demeans or targets people. Cursing and edgy humor are allowed in small doses if the joke is genuinely strong — but our goal through comedy is to bring people together, not shut anyone out.
About the Instructors
Hayes Larsen is a veteran of the Iraq war and an active duty lawyer for the US Navy. After graduating from ASAP’s Spring 2018 Comedy Bootcamp class in Hampton Roads in 2019, he began teaching comedy.
Annie Isaac graduated from ASAP’s Comedy Bootcamp® in 2024 and has been finding ways to share laughter ever since.
