Is there a moment or series of moments in time that you’d like to bring to life on the page? In this exploratory class, we will tap into our personal histories listening closely to ourselves and asking what stories are ready to be unearthed. We’ll look at the craft of memoir as a whole, and explore selections from phenomenal authors while digging deep into our own repertoire of memories. Brainstorming techniques such as guided imagery, music, and light meditation will be used to quiet the extraneous thoughts and create a mind conducive to writing.
The first session of this six-week class is Tuesday, March 21 from 10 AM- 12:30 PM and will meet weekly through May 2, skipping the week of April 11.
