Interior Design Style Discovery

In this style-discovery workshop, you’ll explore personal taste, lifestyle, and practical design basics to create a room that feels comfortable, functional, and genuinely your own.
Creating a home that feels like you begins with understanding what you are drawn to, how you live, and what you need from your space. In this interactive class, participants will explore design styles, personal preferences, lifestyle needs, and the feelings they want their rooms to evoke.
Through guided exercises and visual examples, learn how to identify recurring colors, shapes, materials, patterns, and design elements that reflect your individual taste.
We’ll also introduce the basic building blocks of a well-designed room, including function, layout, balance, scale, color, and cohesion.
About the Instructor
Ryane Smith, founder and CEO of The Creative Design Alchemist and Always RSVP, is an interior designer, creative director, curator, and U.S. Air Force veteran. Her work explores how thoughtful design can reflect identity, honor culture and memory, and support greater comfort and well-being. Through The Art of Home, she offers practical, approachable guidance for creating spaces that feel personal, functional, and intentional, regardless of budget, housing type, or design experience.
