Whether you’re thirsty for a quick sip or simply a new decorative vessel, this 2-hour workshop is for you! In just a couple hours, you’ll be able to craft your own ceramic cup, ready for your favorite beverage.

*Participants will have the opportunity to glaze their piece during this workshop using studio-provided glazes. After the workshop, all work will be bisque fired and glazed by our studio technician. Finished pieces will be available for pickup at the Indy Art Center at a later date. You may create one item during this workshop.

About the Instructor

Rachel Paulk is a multidisciplinary artist whose work includes photography, time-based media, poetry, and sculpture. She studied American Culture Studies and Studio Art at Washington University in St. Louis. Her current body of work “Abject Bodies” uses gesture and fragmentation to explore the expressive limits of the figure. Rachel’s hand-building classes emphasize material exploration as a path to gaining confidence with clay.
