Glassblowing

Turn up the heat and experience glassblowing inside a working hot shop! With one-on-one guidance from a Caliente Hot Glass artist, you’ll learn to heat molten glass, apply color, and use your own breath to inflate and shape a one-of-a-kind glass globe.
No experience necessary. All materials included.
Please note: The hot shop gets HOT! Consider any heat sensitivity or health conditions before registering. You must wear close-toed shoes and comfortable clothing. A signed liability waiver is required before you’re able to participate. Waivers will be provided before the workshop begins.
About the Instructor
Glen Andrews II—who began working with glass around the turn of the century— is the Head Artist at Caliente Glass Studio. He helps shape the studio’s artistic voice, guiding each piece with a balance of technical fluency and quiet inquiry.
