In this six-week class you will learn to SEE better and explore different ways of drawing. You will learn about contours, gestures, light and shadow and many ways to draw what you see. All materials will be shipped to you before the first class.
The first session of this class is Saturday, April 15 from 10-11:30 AM ET and will meet weekly through June 3, skipping the weeks of May 6 and May 20.
About the Instructor
Marni Maree is one of the first group of recipients of the Arts Council of Fairfax County’s Strauss Fellowships for Visual Arts. She earned her BFA in Fashion Illustration from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, PA and has taught art classes all over the world. She is also a member of the Potomac Valley Watercolorists and the Lorton Workhouse Arts Center where she has a studio. Learn more here.
