October 10 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm Central

San Antonio, Texas 78240 United States

The Country One Step is a fast-paced, progressive partner dance that travels around the dance floor one step at a time to upbeat country music. Using simple walking steps, quick turns, and sharp pivots, it’s one of the most straightforward country dances to learn. With no complicated syncopations or triple steps, beginners can pick it up quickly and get moving in no time.

No partner? No problem! These are partner dances, but no partner is needed. Everyone dances with everyone, and you’ll rotate throughout the class.

Come ready to step, turn, and have a great time on the dance floor!

About the Instructor

As a country line dance and partner dance instructor, Autumn Duran has a true gift for teaching. She breaks down every move into simple, easy-to-follow steps so that beginners feel comfortable and confident from day one — while still challenging more experienced dancers to grow and improve.

Her classes are more than just lessons—they’re a place to laugh, learn, and build confidence. Autumn comes from a proud military family with deep roots in service. Both of her parents served in the United States Air Force, and her grandfather was a highly decorated Combat Controller who received two Purple Hearts. That legacy of discipline, dedication, and heart carries into everything she does—both on and off the dance floor.
