About the Instructors

Hayes Larsen is a veteran of the Iraq war and an active duty lawyer for the US Navy. A graduate of ASAP’s Spring 2018 Comedy Bootcamp class in Hampton Roads in 2019, he became a lead instructor for the program.

Originally from upstate New York, Annie Isaac now lives in San Diego with her husband and two dogs. A lifelong comedy fan, she jumped into stand-up in 2023 and quickly fell in love with making rooms full of strangers laugh. Annie is an Army Veteran, TBI survivor, and the girl next door with a loud, vivacious laugh, and her greatest joy is bringing a smile to your face. Annie performs around San Diego and in Merida, Mexico. She also produces comedy shows and runs a weekly open mic. She has opened for Dewayne White, Renee Percy, Jenn Sterger, Myles Weber, and Patrick Keane.
