In this workshop, we will create a D.C. cherry blossom themed painting on canvas. Painting is a wonderful creative outlet and this is a perfect way to give yourself space to explore art on a personal level.
Michelle from Uproot Creative will guide you with step by step instruction as you paint alongside her. Michelle facilitates a positive atmosphere to allow your creative self play and be inspired through paint. This workshop is beginner friendly and you do not need any painting experience to attend! All tools and materials are included (While spills are rare we will be working with acrylic paint that can stain clothing).

Michelle Black is a military spouse, mom of four and the owner of Uproot Creative. Michelle has been sharing her passion for art and teaching classes for 20 years. She believes deeply that tapping into your unique creativity holds powerful healing and immense joy.
